I live on the Bay Trail; dog walks!
Pet care experience
My husband and I have had many different kinds of pets over the years and dogs are still one of our favorites. We’ve had dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, snakes, fish, and birds throughout our lives. I am still accepting the loss of our 15 year old cat and while we would love to have the companionship of a dog, I’m not quite ready to commit yet. I believe that offering dog services will help me be able to engage and meet others, scratch my dog itch, and help me heal and be ready for our next companion. I love taking dogs on long walks (the nearby scenic Bay Trail makes for excellent doggie selfies!), giving cuddle time, talking to them, and letting them make me smile. I have experience pet-sitting small, medium, and large sized dogs and rescue/nervous behaviour. I am available any day of the week and I am available for check-ins while your dog is with me.

Information Samantha U. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if the dog is a rescue dog or has a nervous/cautious personality. This will ensure that I can be pro-active while spending time with your dog. Also, I’d like to know if your dog is potty-trained, in-training, or the type that pees when they meet someone new (Don’t worry, I’m not one myself) so that I can set up appropriate accomodations during their stay. Personally, I think Shelties are the best breed but my husband disagrees and says German Shepherds are. But you’ll probably change our minds when we meet your furry friend.
A typical day
We’ll be taking walks along the scenic Bay Trail along Foster City and around Oracle headquarters, maybe even going to various parks in the local neighborhood. If your dog enjoys getting brushed, combed, or scritch-scratchies, I can give lots of those too!
