I had all kinds of animals growing up including two dogs who I loved very much...a German shepherd and a heeler/lab mix. In 2007 I got my first animal sheltering job taking care of lost and homeless animals. I became quite keen to communicating with animals, reading their behavior and recognizing medical concerns. Since then I have worked in veterinary hospitals as a receptionist and as a technician, both a non-profit shelter and a county run shelter, and I've even volunteered at animal shelters overseas. I started petsitting in the bay area in 2010 and have made some amazing animal friends along the way. Caring for animals is the most rewarding thing I've done and I hope to continue to do it as much as possible.
