I used to be a dog handler. I worked at a country club for dogs doing: training, pet care, grooming, giving medications, and pet photography.

Samantha babysat Evan and she was amazing with him. He was relaxed with her. He played, ate his dinner and enjoyed his day. I am beyond grateful taking care of him so well!
Samantha is a lover of all living things. She especially loves animals. She has previous experience working at a groomers and other pet care. She is a very happy person and loves to spread that joy to others. She is active and caring and is a huge animal lover and would be an asset to have take care of pets.

I do have training and knowledge on pet psychology and care. I believe in providing a safe and nurturing environment for animals all animals. Trust is a must for me. I take my time to get to know a dog or cat through patience and on their terms. Planned visits will be filled with play time, some treats, cuddles and photos. When I take dogs for walks I will always ask about fitness level, age, and what a client would like their dog to get out of it. The type of walk I do can be very different depending on if it’s a walk for a potty break or a walk for exercises and energy management.

It’s important to know the dog’s temperament Are they good with other dogs? Do they require medications and how often? Do they have allergies? Do they have separation anxiety? Are they reactive? What things scare them? Do they have favourite toys or blankets? How are they while in leash? Do they warm up to strangers quickly? What is their history and background? And of course favourite activities.
A typical day
I am a lover of nature and hiking. I would love to take dogs out in nature or to the beach for some time with a ball if that is something they like. I also enjoy having dogs do enrichment activities like chasing bubbles.
