Pet care experience
Dogs are one of the greatest blessings I've known. I've been caring for dogs for over 20 years and have a really soft spot for bully breeds and senior dogs. I love cats as well but have not owned any myself. My dog passed away in January 2023 and there's a dog shaped puzzle piece missing from my heart. I know how stressful it can be to get good care for your beloved animals and I would love to love them like they were my own!

Samantha is the best dog sitter ever! She and her family have always been so kind and welcoming. They truly take care of my dog as if he were their own. I never have to worry about my dog when he is in Sam’s care. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Pets will be walked and given play time as needed/desired. I'm comfortable with providing necessary medications, and am skilled with strong dogs. I do not have a fenced yard but have always taken dogs for relief walks as necessary. Pets are never left outside alone. I live in a very walkable neighborhood so it's good for pups! I'm happy to drive to your location (within 5-10 miles) to care for your animals as well. *****Please note- during the school year I am away from the house for the regular work day. *Only available for overnight when pet stays at my house because I have children. *Multiple pets from the same household are fine.

A typical day
I love spending time with animals and providing for them in the way that meets their needs and the expectations of their owners. Some pets like more exercise than others and some prefer to get cuddles on the couch! I want to do what's right for each pet individually. *Depending on type of coat, a pet bath can be available if desired, for a nominal fee.
