I have always been a huge dog lover! I have a seven year old Shih Tzu of my own named Winston. Coming home to him and his wagging tail is the best part of my day! In college, I dog walked for two Corgis since they were tiny, adorable puppies and now play with them and their new 10-week-old Corgi sibling. Getting to provide love and care to pups is a great experience, and I look forward to every new opportunity. My every day schedule is pretty open for the most part! I am a full time graduate student, which means that I my schedule is fairly flexible. Most of my time is spent reading and studying for my courses. That means that I’m a good fit for pups that are looking for a bit more attention or maybe just like to have some extra company. I'm in school to become a school counselor, which is a job that requires endless amounts of patience and compassion. It’s taught me a lot about being a dog sitter! I also am a very responsible and hard-working student. All through college I worked while maintaining a respectable GPA and even graduated with highest honors. None of that would have been possible without meticulous time management. But I also love to have fun! I try really hard to allow myself to enjoy the little things in life. I really enjoy dog sitting/walking because it gives me another opportunity to take a step back and enjoy life a little more with a four-legged friend by my side! In my free time, I love walking through the many local parks in Philadelphia! In West Philadelphia/University City, I like Clark Park and the Schuylkill River Trail. While walking downtown, I love Rittenhouse Square, and in my neighborhood, Port Richmond, Campbell Square! Together, we’ll find a lot of great things to explore in the city.
