I understand that to build a relationship takes patience. It takes love and a gentle approach. I have a lot of experience with patience when it comes to giving dogs the time they need to build trust in me. I would definitely consider myself an animal person. They love unconditionally but they also need us to love them unconditionally and care for them. I have worked with several animals from birds to goats to chickens and even hamsters. Hello, my name is Samantha for a quick introduction I served in the US Navy for two years (Honorable Medical Discharge) my time was short lived but it was an honor to be apart of something greater than myself. (CS, E-3, USS George Washington with an added 6 years of reserves when I got home). I moved to Texas 7 years ago and during covid signed up for Rover. One of my ambitions is to become a veterinarian! I was the kid in school that wanted to be a marine biologist. My favorite mammal on earth is the killer whale... lol I never new how much joy this opportunity would bring me. I would love to be of service if you’d like a holiday. I treat dogs as if they were my own. With love, cuddles and plenty of playtime. I am very empathetic and understand deeply how important relationships with not only the dogs but with the owners.

We LOVE Samantha and so do our 3 dogs. She always takes such good care of them and keeps us updated through out her stay. She’s the best and we and Beau, Murphy, and Mia highly recommend!!!!
Sam was great! We had a last minute trip which she was able to accommodate us on. Pups loved her, we will def be using again.
Samantha is amazing! She took such good care of my sweet baby while I was away for the weekend. She kept me updated with pictures and videos the entire time and my dog looked so happy the entire time she was with him. He was even pouting after she left!!! To top it off, I came home to an even cleaner apartment than when I left. I will definitely be using her services again!
Samantha is great with my pugs! They are both Seniors so they do require a lot of attention. I stay in constant contact with her and she always meets my expectations when tending to them. She really cares about not just them but all animals. Since recently moving to Round Rock, I need someone during the week to come check on them and let them out, feed, etc. Everything is always done correctly. She is my go-to and my first pick as a sitter. If you’re leaving your babies for more than 4 hrs, I would recommend just having her housesit. My pugs roam free in the house and they are 15 this month and 13 in July. I would never crate them because that’s not how they were raised. Samantha will clean up any accidents they have but will rarely happen. Consider having her come watch your pups, cats etc. she’s the best when it comes to their care!

I own 2 cats so, keeping my living space clean and dusted for my youngest cat that has asthma is important to me. I prioritize cuddle time and tight feeding schedules. Cats are routine animals. My Mom always taught me to leave a house better than how I found it. I tend to clean, dust. Little things to keep myself busy.

I am familiar with most breeds. I usually like to have a schedule written out or texted before hand so that I can cater to your little ones needs. I like to be well prepared. leaving out notes sets me up for success. If you need help learning how to update your pets care instructions, please let me know. Or look at my profile for an example on how to set up your PetPage profile. I understand that I have two cats not dogs however, if you look at the care instructions, I set a good example on where to put the feeding schedule. Medicine needs, and other important details for the sitter to know. I am a petite woman however, I am strong. I don't take on dogs that may overpower me on walks of course.
A typical day
Fetch! Tug of war! I provide plenty of outside time for them. Lots of scratches and cuddles. I prefer to schedule a Meet and Greet before a booking is finalized. It's important to me that the dog is comfortable with me in their environment before owners leave. I have yet to run into an issue, however I am a plan ahead type person and I want you to be able to relax while you're on your trips or holiday. :)

Availability
I am currently treating Rover as my full-time job. That being said, I keep my calendar up to date as often as I can. Please reach out in the instance that you can't find anyone else and I will communicate (even though it looks blocked off) and accommodate to the best of my ability. As far as pricing goes... I have been with Rover since Covid and am still adjusting my prices to what I see is fair. If you want to book and think the cost of services is ridiculous. (For some owners that have tried to book... The costs kind of do become ridiculous) Please reach out and I can negotiate the fees. I have 10+ years in sales; I believe with communication we can totally come to a more affordable agreement. :)
