Hi there! My name is Samantha and I can provide trustworthy care for your dogs (& your home). I decided to join the Rover community because I love dogs. I currently have a year old female German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix, who is absolutely amazing. She's proven to be a very fast learner and is so great with other dogs. I intend to eventually train her and get her certified to be a therapy dog so she can come to work with me and work with children in schools. I grew up with small dogs (shih-tzu, cock-a-poo, & chihuahua), but also have additional experience with medium-size dogs as well. I prefer dog-sitting in the dog's home environment, because they are most comfortable there. However, I am happy to provide care in my own home. I have experience caring for my parents' dogs back home, my neighbor's dog, and a co-workers dog, all of which can provide references if need be. I recently graduated with my masters degree in counseling and am currently "working from home" as a school counselor. I intend to spend as much time with your dog as you would like. I am most comfortable in a house with a schedule to follow. I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have and provide you with references as well.
