I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. From a young age my parents fostered cats, had a cat of our own, and have had 2 dogs in my family. My neighbors, friends and family have relied on me over the years to walk, feed, play, and administer medication for dogs and cats alike. I love animals of all kinds and I can’t wait to meet your pet!

I have an apartment with 2 cats who live here so I probably would not be able to board your animal at my place but I am more than happy to come to the pets home. I pet sit for my friends shih tzu and my parents boxer when they need me so I am good with dogs of all sizes. Time spent with the dogs consists of long walks and playing with toys. I do not have a car but I’m always walking around the city.

I think it’s important to know how the dog is with other people, how they are with other dogs/animals, if they are leash trained, and if there are any previous or current health issues I should be aware of ahead of time.
A typical day
The two dogs that I dog sit for enjoy walks and playing with other dogs. Depending on the size of the dog determines how long the walk will be. My families boxer that I watch from time to time requires 2 mile walks at least 2 times a day, and that’s around their neighborhood in the suburbs. The boxer plays well with other big dogs and likes to run around so she can go to gated in areas at her dog day care and local dog park. The small dog I walk doesn’t require as long of a walk so I’ll take her on about a one mile walk. She likes trail walking and walks around the city but doesn’t do well with interacting with new dogs. I usually like to take dogs to parks, walks around the city, or occasionally to hiking trails.

Availability
I’m currently a full time employee in healthcare. I currently have 2 cat boys in my apartment that my boyfriend and I both take care of and love very much. My schedule varies week to week with some mid week days off work, but I am free on the weekends to make time for any animal.
