Hello! I am a therapist that loves animals! I have a good amount of flexibility at the moment and working with dogs and cats is a way for me to earn some money while doing something that I enjoy. I have always been a dog lover and used to have a Golden Retriever (Sunny was his name) growing up. As a kid, I would help take care of my neighbors dog when the owners were away. My cousin would joke I liked dogs more than people when I was younger. I also love the outdoors and a dog is a perfect companion to have along with me. I am very proactive with fitness so I enjoy going on hikes and walks and can help your dog get out more. I also have a love of cats! I have had three cats so far in my life. One black cat and two bengals. Bengals are higher matneice compared to any house cat because they require attention, training, and plenty of playtime similar to a dog. I also have experience leash training and teaching basic tricks for cats such as come here, high five, up, and down. When I have the responsibility of taking care of another person's dog or cat, I make sure I have enough time to give my attention to them such as enough walks, playtime, or take them to get any services (such as dog grooming). I have given dogs and cats minor medications such as chews for worms and flea medication. In my experience in Rover so far I have dealt with dogs with separation anxiety and trust issues. Taking care of a dog or even cat that's a rescue with certain behavioral issues is similar to when I work with people. It takes a lot of patience, love, and trust on my end.
