We had a family dog when I was in high school, and I haven’t been without a pet since—from Guinea pigs, to geckos, to a porcine potbelly, I’ve had creatures big and small. I rescued my 11 year old pug about 7 years ago, and he’s been my best friend ever since. I will treat every doggo that walks through my door with the same love and attention. I am much more available to host on the weekends, and I’m typically very active (think a “peak a week” even in the winter). Piglet, my pug, is a lounger, so I’m definitely down with chill vibes as well. He’s on a strict schedule of between 7-9 AM, 5:30 PM, and 10 PM for outside time. I have about a quarter acre with a fenced back yard. There’s also a lot of open space in the house. I can crate if needed.
