Hi! I'm Samantha, a lifelong animal lover with professional experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, temperaments, and medical needs. I currently work as the Boarding Manager at The Spot by KLN in Greenfield, Minnesota, where I oversee daily care for dogs in both boarding and daycare. From administering medications and monitoring diabetic pets to helping nervous dogs build confidence in group settings, I've learned that every dog deserves patient, individualized care. At home, I share my life with my rescue dog, Topsy Toppington, who reminds me every day why compassionate care matters. Losing one of my beloved dogs reinforced how deeply our pets become family, and I treat every dog in my care with that same level of love and respect. Positive reinforcement, consistency, and patience are the foundation of everything I do. Whether your pup is energetic, anxious, senior, or simply needs extra attention, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I pride myself on excellent communication, photo updates, and treating every dog like they're part of my own family. I look forward to meeting your best friend!

As the Boarding Manager at The Spot by KLN, I'm experienced in reading canine body language, administering medications, managing dogs with different temperaments, and creating calm, positive experiences for pets of all ages and personalities. I maintain a clean, pet-safe environment with constant supervision, fresh water, and plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and rest. I believe every dog deserves individualized care, so I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special needs before their stay. Communication is important to me, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel safe, loved, and excited to come back for their next visit.

My husband and I took the leap and used Rover for the first time hoping to find someone to take special care of our 3 dogs. One dog needs an insulin shot daily and another dog has separation anxiety-making it difficult for us to take a vacation without worrying. Samantha stayed at our house and took great care of our 3 dogs. She was awesome! She took the time to get to know us and and our dogs twice before our time away. We were pleased with Samantha’s daily updates which made us feel confident every thing was fine. When we got home the house was as clean as we left it and the dogs didn’t even miss us. They seemed more content than I’ve ever seen them. This experience has truly been an answer to our prayer to help us find someone who will love our dogs and care for them as we do. We can finally get away allowing us to feel good about going on vacation. I’m so thankful for Samantha! I hope everyone has as great of an experience as we had using Rover.
Sami was fantastic with our 3 dogs! She house/dog sat for us for the weekend, I had no worries while we were gone. The dogs loved her. Sami sent lots of pics and updates on the pups. The house was clean when we came home. We will absolutely be asking Sami to come back!!
I worked with Sami for around two years at a professional dog kennel and she was amazing. Always friendly and great with the dogs. She knows a ton about about dogs and is a true animal lover. I would trust my dogs (who are literally my babies) with her 100%.

Schedule
I currently work as the Boarding Manager at The Spot by KLN, and my schedule can vary between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Because of this, advance planning is greatly appreciated and allows me to provide the best possible care for your pet. With enough notice, I'm happy to accommodate a wide variety of drop-off and pick-up times whenever possible. Clear communication and planning ahead help ensure a smooth experience for both you and your furry family member. I do my best to be as flexible as possible and will always let you know upfront if I can accommodate your requested schedule.
