Pet care experience
I've volunteered weekly at an animal shelter since I was 12, where I help clean cages, feed animals, and walk dogs. I have also fostered and socialized kittens and puppies while they were waiting to find their forever home. I started my own pet sitting business 2 years ago from which I gained experience with many types of animals, such as cats, guinea pigs, dogs, and even a turtle! With this job I dealt with many different behaviors and ages ranging from new born puppies all the way up to senior dogs.

Samantha was great about checking in, letting us know she had been to visit and sending pics showing that food was plentiful :) She was unable to get a pic of Jimmy, but he is notoriously shy around strangers, so that was not her fault!

I love spending time outside! I will gladly take your dog on long walks or even hikes! I live right around the block from a big grassy park with plenty of space for your pup to run around. There is also a dog park a few minutes away from my house if your dog likes to socialize! Your dog will love playing fetch and running around with my own dog C'noli who is a small Maltese Terrier mix. If you choose to board your dog at my house, there will always be someone around to provide attention!

It is crucial to let me know ahead of time how friendly your dog is with other dogs. My dog, C'noli, loves making new friends and running around the house with them! What I would like to know ahead of time: - normal feeding times/amount of food - normal walking times/amount of walks - if your dog needs a crate - how your dog does in the car - if your dog is a barker - anything that scares/upsets your dog
A typical day
My dog and I thoroughly enjoy going on hikes! I know all the areas around me to take your dog on a safe and enjoyable hike. Your dog is full of energy? No worries! I live in a hilly section of time and love getting a good workout in for both me and your dog. Your dog loves to play fetch or tug of war? Beautiful, I have plenty of excess toys awaiting your arrival.
