Pet care experience
I have been a vet tech for 8 years and before that I lived on a farm and helped tend to all the animals. I can do it all: medicating, boarding, walking, sitting, nail trims, bathing, etc. I work with dogs, cats, reptiles, pocket pets, etc. I am Feline Friendly certified and specialize in taking care of all your kitty needs!

Samantha was an amazing sitter for my cat on short notice and flexible with my needs. She was responsive and kept me connected to my furry family member. She kept her safe and went out of her way to play and connect with her. Her communication throughout the 11 days was amazing! She took care of my cat like it was her own. I would definitely hire her again.

Our dogs Jack and Lolla had a great time with Samantha and were very well taken care of. She was great at keeping us updated with pictures and videos while we were away. I will definitely be using Samantha again when we need a good home for the dogs while we are away.
Samantha was great with my two kitties! I felt very comfortable, leaving them in her care this first time around. She was responsive to every request I made regarding the details of taking care of them. I will definitely book Samantha the next time I go out of town!

I have a fenced yard and a beautiful park behind my house with lots of nature trails. I have 3 very small dogs and some chickens. I do have crates of different sizes and several empty rooms in my house if there is a need for isolation from the other pets. My dogs are very friendly and love to play and the chickens mind their own business. Playtime and walks are a priority for me to help exert excess energy. For cats, I have the entire upstairs that they can keep to themselves if they are scared, with a desk to bask in the sun, a window sill to look out on, and a closet to hide in.

I mainly need to know feeding and walking routines, any special needs, conditions, or medications, exercise requirements, and if you think they will attack my chickens or need to be leash walked. I do charge an additional $5/day for medicating (unless they are super easy and don't give me any trouble, then I will usually waive the charge). I also offer limited grooming services for an additional fee.
A typical day
Outside time is a big priority! I love to play fetch in the yard and watch the dogs and chickens interact. I also love going on walks in the park behind my house. Such a great way to spend the day!

Availability
I am currently working part time so I'll be home plenty to play with your pups and kitties. I work at a vet's office and have the capability to respond appropriately in case of an emergency with your pet.
