Pet care experience
I've lived with dogs and cats my whole life and took an active role in their care from a young age! My current family dog is a rescue and seeing her open up has been so rewarding for us. I love to go for walks, am comfortable with bathing pets and oral medication administration. Every day is an adventure exploring the city with me! I'm currently walking and sitting full time! Boarding is not currently an option but I'm happy to pet sit in your home any night of the week! I understand walking dogs in the city comes with additional risks due to lots of activity on the roads. I take my time and am always cautious with your pets as if they were my own. While sitting I'm respectful of the fact that this is yours and your pets home. I'm able to carry out bedtime routines with pets such as medication administration, brushing teeth, etc.

We are SO grateful to have found Sam! I was nervous having to leave our pets right after moving into a new apartment, but Sam gave us peace of mind with regular updates and photos while we were away. Our dog has a disability which can be challenging sometimes, and Sam did an amazing job taking care of her extra needs. We will absolutely book with Sam the next time we need a sitter!
Sam LOVES pets and they love her back! She understands and carries out pet care with great professionalism and conscientiousness. She's both reliable and trustworthy as a pet sitter, walker, and caregiver. She is very caring towards our pets (dog and cat) and they are not only comfortable with her, but excited whenever she arrives. Please let me know of any behaviors I need to watch out for! Does your pet get reactive around other dogs? Are they food scavengers while on walks? Do they need low key arrivals and exits to limit excitement? Do they jump at children? Any allergies?
A typical day
I love to give dogs lots of exercise. I make pace with your dog so they get to stroll as fast or slow as they like. If they love stopping to sniff everything we can do that too!
