Hey all! My name is Sam and I am currently a pre-med student taking care of my grandma. I am home often and I am looking for a way to help save up money for medical school. I am an avid animal lover and at home I have two golden retrievers (Elliott and Brier) and two cats (Clementine and Thursday). My family and I have prior experience training service animals for Helping Paws and we still act as a dog sitter for their foster dogs. I enjoy taking my dogs for long hikes back home and taking them for swims in my nearby lake. I have been told I have a magic touch with animals of all temperments. I am offering walking services, day care, boarding, and drop-in visits for my clients. I will ensure your fur baby will have a great and safe time.

For walks I am very cautious with others fur babies and make sure to know all triggers for the dogs I am walking or sitting. For daycare, I properly introduce my animals when other dogs are present. My cats have their own room and don’t interact with other dogs. I also have many safety gates around home to assure no animals are left unsupervised and we also have pens/crates. For boarding, I make sure we meet prior and introduce our animals.

Ahead of time I would like to know the dogs temperament, triggers, dietary needs, potty schedule, allergies, and vet information. I will also send out a questionnaire with specific questions.
A typical day
We have many toys for our dogs and ball launchers. We also have a 100ft beach where we bring our dogs to swim. In our backyard we have a fenced in shaded area and a screen porch where our pooches like to watch the wildlife. Around the neighborhood we have various paths to walk and even have a path that encircles the lake.

Availability
I am currently at home taking care of my grandma and studying. I am available throughout the week at variable times in accordance with my calendar. I have a fenced in backyard and I have a multilevel home where pets are separated by gates. If I am introducing my dogs to other animals I usually socialize them during walks prior to coming on their territory to prevent any uncomfort for both parties. I usually let my dogs out in the backyard or take them to the lake to swim. We have many toys and ways to entertain our dogs throughout the day. I also have kennels and pens available if needed.
