Pet care experience
I grew up with both cats and dogs and have been petsitting for friends and family since I was around 10. I have experience working with all types of animals, I even worked on a farm and cared for horses and chickens in high school! I currently own two kitties and have over two years of experience petsitting on Rover. I have experience giving oral medications, ear drops, and caring for senior dogs and cats that need a little extra care.

I'm always very nervous to be away from my girl, but Samantha put me at ease. She was prompt, followed all of our care instructions, spent quality time with her, and sent lots of pictures and updates. When we returned, our dog seemed very content. We look forward to having Samantha watch Blue again!
Sam was amazing! My anxious dogs were immediately comfortable with her. She's punctual, friendly, couldn't ask for more.
Samantha is great!! Not only good with Theo but was kind enough to do random household things (empty my mailbox, etc) Will definitely be using her in the future!!!
Samantha watched all our (fussy) cats for several weekend trips and kept us updated on the ones that hid at feeding time. She even adjusted the routine so they could eat in "secret" away from her during her visit. Always on time and notified us if something came up. She's great!

Another perk of overnight in home sitting is I'll water your plants, bring in your mail, and generally keep an eye on your home so you can have peace of mind.

A typical day
I every pet is different and I love getting to know and hang out with them all. Have a lower energy pup that just wants to sleep and cuddle on the couch? I love a good lapdog and will give them so many cuddles. Have a pet with a lot of energy? I love a good game of fetch or walks around the neighborhood to check out the smells and sights.

Availability
I'm available weekdays after 6pm and all day weekends. I can do overnight stays if you need someone to keep your pup company while you're out of town or I can swing by for a walk or feeding.
