My husband and I have been using dogvacay since we discovered the app earlier summer 2016. We absolutely love it, because it allows our dog to have personal boarding and sitting when we are on the road. Built in 1820, our house is 2400 square feet, lots of room for your dog to run around and play with our in home pets. We have over an acre of land for them to run around on (supervised and on leash). We are building a fence in the next month or so, so we will be able to allow off leash fun right in the comfort of our own property. I absolutely love animals. I have been fostering german shepherds and huskies for 3 years now. I have been active in volunteering in animal shelters and even worked at a veterinary hospital for a year. I have experience with oral and sub-cutaneous medications. Experience with handling and care for pets with special needs such as anxiety and diabetes and other illnesses. I am currently not working. However, I have a job with Delta Airlines as a customer service agent, where I will be working only part-time (less than 25 hours a week). I go on daily walks and runs with our furkid and love going out on adventures to the ocean or nearby lakes. We have 2 lakes right in the vicinity of our house that has great walking trails. We also have a kitty, his name is Peter and he is a Bengal. He thinks he is a dog. Very friendly, and no fear of dogs whatsoever. He also goes on walks :) We are open to different ways of leaving the pets when we have to leave the home to run errands or go rock climbing. We have one kennel available, or guests are allowed to bring their own. We personally let our pets free roam the house, but with doggy vacay we can let your doggy free roam with them, or separate them in different parts of the house, if that is more in your comfort level (for example, Lily and Peter can be locked upstairs, and your pup can have the whole downstairs to roam around). We look forward to meeting your furkids and giving all the love and attention they need while you are away. I will be the main care-taker and my husband will help when he isn't working. He loves playing with all dogs (:
