Pet care experience
I’ve been very fortunate to have a number of dogs during my childhood and into my adult years who have truly become members of the family. Typically these were always larger breeds, Alsatian’s or German Shepherds with various dispositions and specific needs. I always felt comfortable caring for them and ensuring they had multiple walks a day, were well fed and bathed and given all the affection they needed. Given that I like to travel it would be difficult to have a pup of my own full-time but I’d love to have the opportunity, during the periods that I am at home, to care for others pets and keep them company whilst their own families are away or just provide some additional support by checking in or walking them as needed. I will look after your dogs as if they are my own and will follow any special requests or instructions that you have as I know it can be a huge worry to leave your pet with somebody else. I am happy to provide regular updates and photos in order to reassure you that your dogs are being well cared for. I work from home full-time so I can provide 24/7 company.

Samantha very kindly at short notice boarded our border collie for a week after she was unable to go into kennels. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it was a much better and less stressful option for our dog. Samantha was great to communicate with and took on board all our dog’s requirements. Her lovely house and large garden were perfect for our dog’s needs and she gave me complete peace of mind that our dog would be well cared for while we were away. On collection, our dog was well and happy, and had clearly bonded with Samantha. I would not hesitate to recommend and use her services again.
Couldn’t praise Sam highly enough she was great with both my dogs who are pretty big and excitable her garden was amazing perfect for two energetic dogs. Would highly recommend thanks Sam for giving my two hounds a great day ?

Availability
I work from home full-time so I have plenty of time to look after your pups! I love to keep active and get my steps in, so even without my own dog I do plenty of walking and take regular exercise classes. I do keep busy, but when I make a commitment to care for someone else’s dog that is absolutely my top priority and I rework my schedule to fit around them.
