My name is Samantha. I have been with Rover for a few years now, working with dogs in my community. I am a full time Civil Engineer working in the office everyday. I have just recently returned to work after boarding dogs while working from home for about a year. My husband and I continue to take our previous clients who are okay with their dogs being home alone in our apartment during work. We are taking new clients as well, but just want to make sure your dog is comfortable with being alone. Purely out of concern for their experience in a new environment. My husband works 5 minutes from our apartment and stops home for potty breaks. I live in a dog friendly apartment complex with a dog park and other dog amenities. My sliding doors open up to a very large courtyard great for any dog. I am also located on the first floor so your dog will not have to endure any steps while staying with me (old doggies welcome!!) Working with Rover has been one of my greatest joys and I am willing to help now more than ever. I am not going into work so there is not the concern of increased exposure from contact with me. I am willing to work with any needs/request in this difficult time to make everyone feel safe and comfortable. I have experience working with pets of all ages. I have dog-sat puppies, as well as my parents 14-year chocolate lab. I currently have no animals in my apartment so there is no need to worry about your pets getting along with anyone other than me and my husband. My husband and I own an old Rav4 that is great for a doggy car ride, so we are very open to transporting your animals if that is ever a necessary request! I like all pets, big and small alike. At a party you will find me sitting on the ground with the household pets, and on the street you will see me attempting to bond with any dog that stiffs my leg. I love and respect each pet for their varying personalities, being sure to never push my love on a pet that does not feel comfortable with it. I look forward to meeting your pet needs!
