Pet care experience
I have been caring for animals in a multitude of ways for the last 15 years. I am a certified dog trainer with a masters in animal behavior. I currently work as an applied animal behaviorist, specializing in behavior modification for fearful animals (using positive reinforcement only!). I also have extensive experience with dogs that have reactivity issues and am well equipped to walk and care for them. I worked as a veterinary assistant for 4 years and am 'fear free' certified. I also have years of experience as a professional dog walker and sitter for animals with a wide range of needs. All of my experiences have given me the skills to care for dogs and cats with all types of medical needs or behavioral difficulties.

Since I have met Samantha, she has been an animal LOVER and it was clear from the start. She has always been such a dedicated dog mommy growing up with 5 dogs in her home. She cared for them, fed them, bathed them, took care of them when they were sick, trained them, and just cared for them in general. Once she married her husband a couple years back, she not only got to move in with one roommate, her husband, but two, along with his pitbull Hayley. Samantha made sure they found a home for the where all THREE of them were welcome. Her passion for animals amazes me and is something to idolize. She has done numerous fundraisers and gone to places like Best Friends Sanctuary out West to care for animals she doesn't even know. And now she is dedicated her life to study animal behavior in grad school. There is no one I would trust more with any animal than Samantha.
Samantha is a highly energized individual who takes the time to get to know you and your pets. She has grown up with multiple dogs in her at the same time including having foster dogs at various times; Sam was able to adapt to the changing environment and keep it safe and fun for all the dogs. She has always had a passion for animals and advocates for them, seeking out more opportunities to help and learn.
