Hello! I’m Samantha. I’m currently a vet technician at a clinic in Byron Center. I’m newly married and looking for some extra income. Before I was a vet tech I worked at dog kennels for about a year and cared for my neighbors animals when they were gone. I’ve always had a passion and love for animals. I’ve owned and cared for cats, dogs, rats, mice, hermit crabs and fish. I currently have 2 cats and a mouse. I look forward to caring for your furry family members.

I will need to know how dogs are around new people. How they are around different dogs and animals. If they have any special needs or meds. Go over meds and make sure everything is correct. Would prefer an initial visit with the owners to make sure it’s a good match. Have owners send me a list of specific things each animal needs.
A typical day
I offer different activities for dogs. Such as finding treats in different toys. Long walks and fetch. For cats I have tons of toys they can play with and enrichment activities.

Availability
Dog walking can only be on Sunday, Monday, or Thursday. Those are the days I don’t work or have shorter shifts. House sitting I can do any week expect for when I’m on vacation.
