-Fully COVID-19 vaccinated- I’ve had at least one dog (at most six) in my life since I was born. My mother is a professional animal trainer and caretaker, so I have plenty of first hand experience.. I am currently working and studying from home in a virtual setting. Therefore I am flexible and willing to work around your schedule. From a one night emergency to a walk every day, I’ve got your back. Each dog is different and I tailor my approach to their specific needs. Have a puppy with enough energy to power a whole city? We can play for hours. Senior citizen who prefers a good nap? I’m always ready for a snuggle session on the couch. Please note: I have notification quiet hours (meaning the delivery of your message is delayed until the work day begins anew) set from 9pm to 9am in an attempt at work/life balance. Samantha is great! Hank is a strong dog that pulls and frankly is not great with other dogs. Samantha did a great job managing him and is so reliable and sweet. I’m so happy to have found her. Hank also fell in love with her.

Every dog is different, ranging in personality and ability. Therefore my approach is learned and adjusted per pup. Certain things stay constant, such as: cautious entry and exit to prevent escape artists, supervised play time, and varied pace in walks to maximize efficiency while minimizing injury (just like human athletes).

No breed preference. I have extensive experience with “aggressive” breeds such as Pitt bulls and Rottweilers, (though that’s codswallop in my opinion. All dogs are good dogs if shown proper affection and care.) NOTE: in the event of a pet present in the home who does not have their own profile and/or I was not informed of ahead of time, an additional fee shall be added. Please inform me of any and all animals who will be present in the home during the times of my services.
A typical day
As a remote worker, I’m currently spending most of my day in a chair, in online meetings. Needless to say, I am dying for some exercise. Dogs of all ages benefit from a walk with occasional bursts of running, very similar to high interval intensity training for humans. Every pup I care for will enjoy a diverse blend of paces and routes for each adventure.

I’m a remote worker who spends most of her time crunched in my office chair, so the chance to get out and explore the city (I just moved to town) with your pups is exactly what I need. I can’t wait to meet the pets of NOLA!
