Pet care experience
I will provide pet care in the same way that an owner would, with love and affection and long walks! I am available because I am a teacher that is off for the summer and trying to make extra money. I tend to have the special skill of calming especially rambunctious dogs, and I love to spend time with all kinds of animals. I would consider myself qualified as I have taken care of a lab, a pug, a pitbull mix, and an older cocker spaniel with cancer who all had very different personalities. I also currently have two French bulldogs. I have experience administering medication to multiple dogs in the past, especially my dog with cancer whom needed extensive care on a regular basis. I genuinely love caring for and having fun with dogs on a regular basis!

Samantha did a superb job watching over our 2 Chows. She also gave us visit updates and photos and we could tell they were very well taken cared of. Would highly recommend!

I love all dogs, but get along well with larger dogs and especially dogs with a lot of energy. I also have a lot of experience with older dogs and their personalities. I do have two frenchies, so getting along with other dogs is a must. I would like to know if a dog is especially nervous or scared of anything before watching them and whether they take medicines or need special care, but any other issues that arise are no problem!
A typical day
I can take the dog on walks in Jack London Square or their neighborhood and explore many of the grassy spots (if the pup is up to it of course!). I love to go to coffee shops and read and would love to take a calmer dog with me for some much needed relax time with treats included! I also love to hangout and watch tv while petting and giving as much attention to the pup as they like! I also live in an extremely dog friendly area and like taking trips to play fetch and run around with dogs.
