I've taken care of dogs, cats, and other domestic pets for 20+ years. I've been trained for grooming cats and dogs for 5+ years. Pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors for 10+ years. And I have less than 4 years working with farm animals.

For BOARDING and DAYCARE: I live on 3 acres of (mostly) open field, UNFENCED. My own fur babies to keep your pet company, my cats and dog are very friendly with other pets and do not mind sharing their space and toys! My living room is designed with pets in mind! All furniture is shared with fur babies, complete with a giant kitty condo, extra large orthopedic dog bed. I try to provide easy access to windows (or "cat TV" as we call it in my house.) Extra large filtered water fountain pet bowl and toys for both cats and dogs, including puzzle games! I have senior pets so I try to makes sure everything is easily accessible. Lots of space for playing and zoomies! Both entrances are handicap friendly, as my dog has early hip dysplasia, and little stairs to get on the couch. For PET SITTING and DROP-IN visits: Upon meeting you and your pet, I will work with you to establish your normal routine that you have with your pet so that I can adhere to it while they are in my care. For example; feeding schedule and procedure, medication administration (if applicable), and if you and your dog have a specific walking route you'd like me to stick to. I'm happy to take tons of pictures, and even video chat, so you can check on your dog or cat while in my care.

If your dog has any allergies I need to know this upfront. I will ask you so that this information is not overlooked. If your dog takes medication and how to administer. I need to know if your dog requires special attention for certain conditions, such as has arthritis, deafness, heart conditions, etc. The more I know about your baby's special needs the better I can care for them!
A typical day
Any games or activities your dog is already familiar with, so please share with me what he or she likes to play. I like reward pets with treats, so its important to know if your pet has any allergies or other dietary restrictions. I enjoy building a trust-based relationship with all the pets I meet, and so I will talk to them like a friend the whole time. (Some cats think I talk TOO much...)

Pet care IS my life from sunrise to sunset! I have 4 pets of my own, 3 of which are of senior age, in amazing health. Because I work mostly freelance and from home, I have a very flexible schedule to take care of your precious furry family member. I'm great with short notice, so I can even meet your cat or dog TODAY, and start taking care of them as soon as TOMORROW!
