I've had a dog in my family for nine years. When she was younger we would go for walks around the neighborhood for hours. It was something we both loved to do. I've also bathed her and trimmed her nails at home. Those weren't her favorite activities, but we made it through them comfortably. I work as a server so I'm available all morning and early afternoon until about 2:30p.m. If you need me to do drop in visits I'm usually off work around 10p.m., therefore; your furry friend won't be home alone for long periods of time. My apartment complex has a fenced dog park right in my backyard. There are also several surrounding quiet neighborhoods for long walks. Because my dog is now 15 and living with my parents (she developed arthritis in her hips and is unable to climb the flight of stairs to my apartment) I miss having a four legged friend in my life. I love to play fetch and tug-of-war.
