Pet care experience
As far back as I remember I have been working with animals. I’ve had experience with everything from small animals, reptiles and fish to horses and livestock. My family has always had dogs and cats. More recently I’ve gained experience working with sheep, administering medication and medical care. I assisted in dog training classes and puppy socialization. I love small and large dogs, young or old.

Easy to connect with. She has no problem with my male and food aggressive dog. Sends pictures. Also checks on my garden and had helped with that too. Which is great since I'm a newbie at it. We'll definitely be booking again for future needs. 🤩
We have a number of animals, both domestic household pets and farm livestock. We have never taken a family vacation due to not having someone we trusted to take care of our wide variety of animals.... till Samantha came along! She house sat for us for a week, taking care of rabbits, chickens, ducks, fish, parakeets, reptiles, cats, guinea pigs, goat and our dog. We were delight that we could relax while on vacation knowing Samantha, with her background in livestock from MSU and her personal love of animals, would take excellent care of all of them. She is herself a pet parent, with her dog Deacon. She has done an amazing job of behavior training with him, turning him from a rowdy pup to a well behaved young dog. I would not hesitate to entrust any of our animals to her in the future.
Samantha is a very compassionate and sincere person. I was her supervisor at the Michigan State University sheep farm and working with animals is something that definitely comes natural to her.
Samantha is a very responsible and kind care giver. She has provided the absolute best care for all of our fur kids on a number of occasions and will hopefully continue to do so in the future as well!

Where I currently live, there are nearby dogs parks that I love visiting with my own dogs. In addition, there are multiple trails that are well kept for walking traffic.

Before sitting a pet, I would like to know their daily routine such as potty breaks, feeding schedule and how they spend their day. Do they have other pet friends who they are allowed to walk with or certain dog parks they visit. Is there a specific walk route they are used to?
A typical day
During the summer, I enjoy going for walks near and to the lake with my dogs. We spend most our time outside in the yard playing, training or just enjoying the sunshine. I am very big on using puzzle toys such as kongs, lickimats or other safe chews.

Availability
I spend most my days at home with my dogs and have a highly flexible schedule over the summer. I aim to fit the needs of my clients to the best of my abilities. I am currently working as a doggie daycare attendant in Lansing but am more than willing to work with clients to find suitable arrangements for your pets!
