Pet care experience
I have cared for multiple dogs the past ten years, including two of my own dogs, two foster pups, two client's dogs, and working for both the local Animal Clinic and Blue Buffalo while in high school has taught me many things about the care and training of our furry better-halves. However, no amount of experience can even touch how much I love dogs. During the brief periods where my home did not have a dog in it, my family and I felt listless and unmotivated. Adopting and caring for dogs saved my life and now I want to care for other people's dogs as well! The best part of humanity is our ability to care for and love another species so deeply and everyday that I get to meet a new pup or continue to spend valuable time with my own is a great day.

Sam has literally been like an addition to our little family, she is the best! Our dog Beau is very nervous around strangers and we have been working with same for a couple of months now and she has been nothing but patient, understanding and accommodating with Beau and us! We highly recommend Sam especially when it comes to dogs that need a little bit more work and attention, she is the best!
Samantha has watched our dog every time we have traveled the past two years and I would not feel comfortable leaving him with anyone else. Sam has such a genuine love for dogs and is extremely knowledgeable about health and diet and even helped train our dog while she was there! I'm pretty sure our dog never wants us to come home because he has it so good with Samantha! She is responsible, great at communicating with us and makes my puppy feel so loved. Absolutely recommend!
She was amazing with our 9 yr old pit bull. She was able to gain his trust and cared for him as well as we do!! Spoiled!! She even took great care of him after his major surgery. She was so kind and gentle with him. She made sure she knew everything that he needed during his healing process. I had no worries, he was definitely in good hands. I completely trust Samantha and will keep using her to watch our puppy baby!!

I would need to know if the pup has any allergies, any medications, injuries, or any special needs. Whether the dog is aggressive to other dogs, new people, or just fearful! If that's the case, I'd like to meet with you and your dog beforehand. Does the dog resource guard? Common questions that help me care for your pooch while you're away. Just like babysitting a child, I'd like to know the name, number, and location of your primary veterinarian. I don't have any breed preferences, but it would be helpful to know what sort of activities your dog prefers!
A typical day
I will go on walks in the surrounding neighborhood or change the route depending on the recommendations or requests of the family. Playing softball has stepped up my fetch game if you have a yard, but otherwise, I will try not to lose at tug of war. I can also reinforce any training that the family is giving the pup and even practice new skills with them!
