My family has owned dogs for the last 20 years, and I just could not imagine life without them! Dogs have always been there for me, so I believe that it’s my duty to make sure that every dog that comes my way has everything they need to thrive. Perhaps it’s dogs’ giving spirit that inspired me to become a pet sitter, but my dedication to making pups happy is unmatched! That’s why I can’t wait to meet you and your pooch. My experience taking care of dogs has been varied, to say the least! My experience as an owner comes from two decades of taking care of rambunctious Aussie Shepherds that could keep up with just about anything. In addition to them, I helped foster dogs in need and cared for them as they transitioned into their forever homes. What an amazing experience that was! I learned so much about taking care of dogs in need and helped them get ready to settle into a live with their families. I also learned a great deal as a volunteer for local no-kill animal shelters. Now, I’m just loving life as a proud parent to a 9-year-old Aussie named Sydney! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. One of the best things about me as a sitter is that I have tons of flexibility to work with all sorts of different schedules. I write my own schedule every single week, which allows me to incorporate the animals that I’m watching over as well. I’ll make sure that your pooch gets all the facetime they need with me, no matter what! If your pup requires a little extra TLC, their needs will 100% be met.
