Pet care experience
I've always had dogs in my life. My first dog was Toby a king Charles cavalier who lived to be 17. I got older as he grew older & took care of him in his final years giving him all the care & attention he needed in his more demanding time so feel comfortable with older dogs. In my family home we have a 6 year old border collie Lily that I trained & treat as my baby. Leaving her to move to the North East was so difficult but now having a home with my partner, Matty, we have our own pup - Piper. Piper is a well behaved, excitable, playful, loving collie. She gets on well with other dogs & loves to play, rolling about with them.

I have a fenced back garden where Piper loves playing with balls & toys so your dog will have lots of fun running around & playing with her & her toys. We have a crate in the house that can be used & two living rooms so lots of space & comfort for napping.

A typical day
Having collies for many years I understand the importance of mental stimulation as well as physical. With that I like to play with toys that can do this but also take dogs out on walks to allow them to explore & sniff away to satisfy their needs. I live right next to a big park, within walking distance of fields, woods & the beach so can guarantee a good time out for all dogs.

Availability
My partner Matty & I work shifts but with my work schedule I have one day off during the week, with a day working from home & every other weekend off. This gives me flexibility to look after my own pup but also yours!
