Pet care experience
I’ve been pet sitting my neighbors pets (mainly cats) since the age of 10, and I’m currently 23. I fell in love with their cat so much that I decided to become a cat parent in adulthood, and now have a 2 year old black cat! I spend a lot of my free time feeding and interacting with stray cats, so I have a lot of experience dealing with all kinds of cats with all kinds of personalities. I’d love to help your cat feel less lonely while you’re out of town and make sure that he/she are comfortable!

Samantha has a special gift with pets that makes her intuitive, empathetic, and truly one-of-a-kind. I appreciated her problem solving attitude and her communication. I felt so comfortable leaving my cat in her care while I was away. She went above and beyond for me and my pet and I appreciated every minute she was there for us.

For drop in visits, I usually spend about 30 minutes to an hour to check on your kitty. I would make sure all water is changed to fresh water, prepare their proper meals, and use the rest of the time to make sure that they are comfortable and happy. As far as entertainment goes, I’d love to know what your kitty’s favorite activities are so I could incorporate them into our time together. If you’d like me to spend more time with your kitty, we can definitely arrange for longer meetings as well.

All pet parents like to feed their pets all sorts of different diets, and I’m very comfortable handling/preparing all of them (raw food, adding water to wet food, adding toppers/medicine, etc). Let me know if there are any special restrictions you have for your kitty and I’d also be more than willing to discuss any other health concerns as well!
A typical day
Besides making sure your cat has clean drinking water and an a fresh meal, I’d love to either play with or comfort your cat, whatever they’re in the mood for of course! I typically play with feather wand toys or games of fetch with my cat; but I do carry a laser toy that I can use to play with your cat in your home! My own cat is super high energy so I’m used to having to entertain him for 30 minutes to an hour at a time. High energy cats won’t be an issue for me, although I have no issue also being a couch potato with your kitty if that’s more their thing!

Availability
I currently only work part time and do college online so I can be available to your pet any day of the week. When I do work, my hours are very short and likely will not interfere with visitation hours as well. I’m also typically in town so I can be available to you on very short notice.
