I’ve had animals all through my life. I have looked after dogs, cats, fish, birds, Guinea pigs, chickens, goats, snakes, tortoises. I love animals and my life experience with animals is vast. I am a caring person to animals.

The communication with Sam before, during, and after our holiday was excellent. We were confident that our 3 cats would be looked after and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her.

This is the second time Sam has looked after my cats whilst on holiday. My boys are quite shy but warned to Sam very quickly. Sam is very reliable and lovely. I would highly recommend her.

I have a large walled garden. I have a tortoise that lives out during summer. I have looked after Neighbors and friends pets whether it’s a holiday or a weekend away. I am happy to visit homes to offer care and potty breaks. If I were asked to care in the owners home I would ask what was expected and follow this so that everything is safe and fine. I would get pet care guidance off owners.

The dog parents can tell me what not to do examples not to let of lead etc and what their family member likes. I will listen and follow the instructions and over time get used to the animal.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs. Dogs love company and new walks. A new park to a dog is a new chapter to human reading a book. Fortunately near myself I have many parks and dog walking areas, with new scenery and new smells.

I’m currently a respite foster carer and have been for years. I am DBS advanced checked because of looking after children. I can mostly work during the week but can consider weekends, so I’m flexible.
