I am the biggest animal lover ever!
Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals since I was in high school. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and overall take care of their pets. Professionally I have taken care of a families dog, which will soon be 2 dogs, for 3 years. They have trusted me to stay in their home and care for their 6 year old Golden Retriever. During the time of caring for this dog, he has become sick and requires a special diet and medicine. I have been able to give him the proper care he needs for his sickness. Also, starting a year ago I have fostered with a local animal shelter. We have fostered 6 kittens, one puppy, and one young dog. With the kittens, we have provided medicine and care starting at the age of 4 weeks. While having the puppy we did provide training and helped him become house broken. I now have 2 cats of my own.

I make sure anything that is unsafe for the animal is away and out of site from them. Whenever we have housed and animal we always keep the house quiet for the first day to help with the transition of them being away. We also don’t allow people over during the time of sitting. When I’m away at someone’s home I do the same thing. Whenever I’m at someone else’s home, I do not bring others into the home out of respect and safety for the animal.

Availability
I am a graduate student who works part-time. When I’m not at work, I’m at home. After this semester comes to an end I will only have classes on Monday. I have all of my weekends off and a majority of my days open to care for your loved ones
