I've taken care of and watched dogs and cats since I was a child, having had many while growing up. I have also watched and cared for numerous pets for family and friends throughout my lifetime. I've successfully trained my own dog, as well as dogs for friends and family in basic and advanced commands (ie. sit, stay, wait, lay down, etc.). I housebroke my puppy in less than two weeks, and am comfortable working with animals that need to be housetrained still. I am also comfortable and proficient at administering medication to dogs and cats alike. I work on a freelance basis for a company and am currently openly available for all the services I offer. I am looking for both long-term and flexible schedules and will be happy to work with you and your pet. I have a completely fenced in backyard with room for your fur babies to play. Additionally, the front of our house is gated in to prevent your pet from getting out. We have a park within walking distance that has a dog park included. I have two roommates who work full time but would be home in the evenings to give your pet lots of extra love! They are both long-term pet owners themselves. I, myself, have a 6 and a half-month-old puppy who has all of his shots and vaccinations up to date. He is very friendly with other dogs and looks forward to meeting them. He is not aggressive or protective of his space (as we have regularly introduced him to new dogs to assure he's comfortable with strangers). If your dog needs to be crated I have a crate for a medium to large dog that I would be happy to provide if needed. I will be home with them so I will be able to allow for regular bathroom breaks and walks 2-3 times a day (unless asked otherwise for health). We have a large open floorplan downstairs which allows for plenty of indoor play as well and have puppy-proofed it.
