My experience in pet care spans various aspects, including cat and dog sitting, boarding, and dog walking. Over the years, I have provided loving and responsible care to numerous pets, ensuring their comfort and happiness while their owners were away. In addition to my practical experience, I have pursued formal education to enhance my expertise. I have completed courses in Intro to Veterinary Medicine, Grooming, and Canine Behavior, gaining valuable insights into animal health and behavior management. My training also extends to positive reinforcement techniques, as I served as a dog training apprentice and a behaviorist liaison, promoting ethical and effective training methods. Currently, I am employed at an animal hospital, where I play a vital role in caring for animals under medical supervision. This position has further honed my skills in animal healthcare, ensuring that I can provide the highest standard of care to every pet in my charge. I am deeply committed to advancing my career in the field of animal care, which is why I am currently pursuing a degree to become a veterinary technician. After obtaining this degree, my goal is to move on to the pre-vet track to become a Veterinarian.
