I have owned and taken care of two Golden Retrievers for a total of about ten years. I raised them from puppy to senior age, and loved them each very dearly. I bond extremely well with all animals, but especially dogs. Taking care of dogs pushes you to be active and playful, which fits in with my personality very well. I find dog sitting to be very rewarding because it is such a wonderful phenomena to be able to bond and communicate with an animal without having a shared language. I am a responsible, charismatic, and active person and as a Chicagoan I learned the value of a good walk.
