I just recently moved to Kentucky from Florida for graduate school. Growing up, my family always had dogs and living on my own in my apartment gets lonely. I would love to have a dog myself up here but being in graduate school full time, it would be hard to support a dog financially. I saw signing up for Rover as an opportunity to have some furry company as well as help the community! I have been taking care of dogs and cats for families as well as my own ever since I was 10. Taking care of pets includes taking dogs on bathroom breaks, taking dogs for walks, and to vet visits. I have helped out giving medications or special foods. I have been responsible for taking care of pets for only over the weekend as well as for weeks at a time. I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats at once. I am currently in graduate school full time, so I have plenty of free time to take care and watch pets throughout the day and over the night. I am flexible when it comes to scheduling as well. I live in a spacious 1 bedroom apartment that is carpeted and has hardwood flooring. My apartment is an open floor plan and very welcoming and open. There is plenty of room for a dog or cat to lay and play during the day. My apartment complex also has fields for dogs to be walked and play! I do not have any of my own pets currently.
