Pet care experience
I have been fostering dogs of all shapes/sizes/temperaments for 10 years. I am also a dog trainer and can handle most dogs. I can handle dogs of varying energies. I have a playful dog, a couch potato dog, a observer Pyrenees, and a fetch dog and they all are great at teaching new dogs social skills.

This was such a smooth experience for us. Our puppy had the time of her life with Samantha. I felt so comfortable leaving her and knew she wouldn’t want to come home at the end of the day. Received lots of pictures and updates. Very grateful that we found Samantha!
Samantha is always sweet with Harley and gives great care. She comes home tired from playing all day. I have had several rover sitters. But by far Samantha is the best.

Our puppy had a wonderful time At Samantha’s. She loved playing with the other dogs, the hikes and being outside. We appreciated the updates and pictures. She was well taken care of and smelled great when we picked her up. Highly recommend and happy we have a place for our girl when we need care for her.

I have a fenced yard that is at least 1 acre, as well as a pond and a 10 acre farm. I am very dog experienced, I introduce dogs slowly and can handle reactive dogs. I have three dog savvy kids and 4 of my own dogs. I foster a lot of dogs with different behavior challenges and I can handle most anything your dog can throw at me. I do prefer to crate dogs when I am not there, for their safety and comfort.

Let me know if your dog has any behavioral challenges, if they are comfortable in a crate, dog/cat/kid friendly, etc. We can work on most things, but I will have to crate and rotate if the dog is a danger to my family or my dogs. My kids are very dog savvy and know to ignore dogs until they are acquainted.
A typical day
I love to give dogs mental stimulation, fun, structure, and help them feel safe. This will look different based on the dogs temperament. We have a pond to swim in, country roads to walk on, a fenced yard, lots of dog toys, and lots of dog beds!

Availability
I am mostly home, aside from transporting my kids to and from school. I can take your dog on outings, work on training, or just give them a safe place to be. If they don't enjoy a busy home, I can give them a quiet place to escape the chaos and nice walks in the country.
