Pet care experience
Currently I have two dogs: a pitbull/lab mix named Manny and a boxer/mastiff mix named Tucker. I not only have a personal background of dog knowledge, but I also have an extensive education in the field of Animal Science as well. I have background knowledge in Veterinary Assistance which allowed me to gain knowledge in animal behavior, proper handling, administering medications as well as becoming cat and dog CPR certified and first aid trained. Through further education, I continued my passion for animals by obtaining an Animal Science degree that focused on both large and small animals. I attended classes based on proper animal nutrition, husbandry skills, and disease control and management within animals.

You did an amazing job and I know our cats are especially spoiled and needy. Lol! I can tell by their behavior they were taken great care of and happy. Would without a doubt use Samantha again. Samantha did a great job house sitting and taking care of my dog for a week. She sent pictures everyday of Penny with a message on how she was doing. I would recommend her and I will use her again. Thanks Sam?
Samantha did an excellent job with Rusty. It was Rusty’s first time being alone and he was not very happy about it. Samantha did a wonderful job working with him to win him over. She kept us informed of his progress and sent pictures while we were gone. I would recommend Samantha to anyone and we will be using her whenever we go out of town.
Our dogs took right to Samantha. We have wanted to find the ‘perfect’ person for our chowdren to stay with when we are unable to to take them with us. I believe we have found that person. She is very professional and asks many questions to make sure she takes the proper care of your pet. We will definitely be using Samantha when we travel!

Please let me know before hand if your pet has any special care instructions, medication(s), behavioral issues (especially when left alone), aggression, physical care needs (daily brushing, teeth brushing etc.) and/or potty training issues. Knowing anything unique about your pets will help me better understand their needs and make them the most comfortable during the stay or meeting.
A typical day
Whether that is playing in the backyard within their fenced area or going on long walks throughout the neighborhood. I enjoy making sure the animals I am watching are kept happy and healthy during my stay or visit.

Availability
I typically work Monday through Friday for about 8 hours during the day, occasionally I will have a weekend shift for the same amount of time during the day. When it comes to my main job I do try my best to work with clients to figure out the best availability for your pets as well as myself so we all can have an enjoyable experience with the stay, walk or drop in.
