Pet care experience
I’ve had at least one cat and one dog in the family for my entire life! I adore and love caring for not only my own pets, but the pets of my family and friends as well! From cleaning up some nasty messes, to enjoying cuddly moments, to making sure they are fed and happy, I’ve done it all when it comes to caring for my pets! I’m currently a full-time college student at Northwestern University, but I’m willing to wake up early, use my breaks between classes, and get home late to help a pet-loving family! After many years of experience with all kinds of cat and dog personalities, I’m very responsive to how both react to me as a new or returning friend. If your pet is shy and not to keen on new friends, I will happily keep my distance while making sure everything is in order. However, if a pet needs a cuddle or two to keep them happy, I’m thrilled to do that as well!

Samantha was absolutely fantastic. She is SO thorough and follows all feeding instructions to a T. My cats absolutely adored her & I felt so comfortable & happy knowing they were being cared for by someone as kind & caring as her. 10/10 will have her care for my boys again!! <3<3

Sam was great with my cat Kiwi! I could tell Kiwi was happy with all the attention she was getting, and I loved the photo shoots Sam would hold with her! Sam was also super understanding when the door had some locking issues and I was impressed by her reactions. I Would definitely book again with Sam.

It’s important for me to know if any type of behavior makes a dog uncomfortable (such as being held or pet in certain ways) that way I can make sure I keep them as happy as possible! I also like to know if I they have a tendency to run at the first sign of freedom. I’ve had a couple of escape artists in my experience with pets and I prefer to know ahead of time so I don’t end up chasing an excited dog down the street.
A typical day
I’m lucky to attend such a beautiful university like Northwestern! Between the field in front of Deering library, the lakefront, the beach, and the numerous paved trails through campus, the dogs in my care and I have endless places to explore and play!
