Pet care experience
Hi! I can't imagine life without man's best friend! I have always had dogs (7 in total over my lifetime) who were a range of sizes/energy levels/special needs, have volunteered at shelters, and I am a wildlife biologist. I have been dog sitting and walking since I was old enough to work. Physical and mental exercise during the day is so important to your dog's health and well being. I would be so happy to help you and your pup get their much needed exercise! If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am happy to work with dogs that aren't great on lead or may have some issues with other dogs or people on lead. I love them all!

I have no breed or size preferences but I do like to ask these questions so I can best look after your dog. He or she is family after all! 1) Is your dog crate trained? How comfortable are they in the crate? 3) Does your dog have any behavioral issues I should know about (e.g., separation anxiety, fear aggression with new people, dog aggression, aggression on lead, food aggression)? Virtually every dog has a behavioral quirk, but that is nothing we can't work with :) 4) How active is your dog? High energy requiring lots of walks and playtime? Or mellow and just wants to stroll along? 5) Are there any medical concerns I should look out for or know about? (Checking stool, taking medicine, etc.) 6) What is the ideal or typical routine your dog is used to? 7) How often does your dog need to be visited (for exercise, potty, etc.)? If there is anything else you would like me to know or do, please do not hesitate to let me know!
