Pet care experience
**About me** Hi, I'm Sam! I'm a freelance graphic designer, and currently work from home. I started walking dogs as a side gig to take a break from the computer and be around animals more, which I LOVE! I currently have three dogs. I have taken training courses with my larger dog, as he was afraid of street crowds and noises when I adopted him and first moved back to the city. Therefore, I feel confident walking all types of dogs with the lessons I have learned about patience and using positive reinforcement for dogs that can get easily distracted on leash. I've walked many different types of dogs in the past, and I will always keep your pup(s) safety a top priority! **Special rules or requests** I don't have any breed restrictions when it comes to pet sitting/walking. I welcome all breeds of all shapes and sizes. I'm also understanding if a dog has reservations with new people, or is leash aggressive as I have dealt with that before. I ask that if that is the case, that we do have a meet & greet first to make sure the dog is fully comfortable with me. I also will need to know if your dog has any allergies, their feeding schedule, and any known triggers. Sitting rates are for 24hr periods. I have volunteered with local rescues and have experience with providing medical attention to puppies and senior dogs.
Reviews
Sam is AMAZING. My boys are so well taken care of! We absolutely adore her!
Absolutely amazing! She cared for our boys while we we’re away and I felt so much better knowing someone was going to drop in on them and make sure they were ok. Sam was constantly communicating with us and sent pics of them everyday. I can say enough great things about her. Thanks, Sam!!
Amazing. Samantha is the best there is.
Junior loved her. She eased his anxiety why I was at a concert. thanks again sorry this review is wayyyy past due.

I am available for pet sitting drop-ins (multiple visits a day to check on your baby!) in the West Ashley area. My number one priority is your pet's safety. I will be sure they are leashed properly on our walks and I try to keep them on the side away from any vehicles when we don't have sidewalks. I also typically avoid other animals unless you prefer them to play with other dog friendly dogs.
Information Samantha G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know what your dog's current schedule is, how much exercise they require, and if they require to be crated so I can be sure it works with my schedule. Do they prefer going to the bathroom in a yard vs a walk? Also if they have any allergies, take medication, and roughly how regular they use the restroom so I can be sure to check for anything out of the ordinary. Lastly, please let me know if they have any known fears, aggression or anxiety issues.
A typical day
Each day may be different depending on the animal(s) and household. If you have cat that aren't super social with strangers, I am happy to come by and feed them and clean their litter box and see if they'd like attention. If you have a puppy or senior dog, I may need to do multiple visits and shorter walks. If you have an adult dog typically a few walks a day or play visits outside are standard with their feeding schedule.
Services
Samantha can watch in your home
Availability
I currently do this part-time and am typically the most flexible around the range of 11:30-1pm M-F (as I have a few regular walks then).
