Pet care experience
I currently go to school at the University of California-Berkeley during the week but I'm free during the entire weekend in addition to Mondays. I live in an apartment with my roommate Jenny, but unfortunately the apartment doesn't allow pets. Lately, I've missed having the company of a dog by my side. I've grown up with dogs around me my whole life so I know the basics of how to care and feed them and the secrets to a good belly rub. When I'm back at my parents' home, I love being outside and going for walks with my dog Sandy. However, because she is older, we mostly just relax on the cold tile floor together while I give her treats and scratches from head-to-toe.

Samantha is one of the most passionate, dedicated, and hardworking animal-lovers I have had the honor of meeting. She doesn't discriminate or buckle from against size, color, personality, breed, or species--to prove my point, she has worked with llamas and hamsters (we currently have two hamsters and are trying very hard not to adopt another one because we have no more space in our house!) In the context of dogs, she is an absolute necessity to a fantastic dog walk. She used to volunteer at the Berkeley Animal Shelter for hours a day, treating each canine with attention, love, and enthusiasm.
