Hello! My name is Samantha F. I just moved to Montana from Wisconsin and have been loving every second! I have been dog sitting for about 9 years now! My boyfriend and I live together with a dog and a cat. I love to take them camping! The cat is not a great walker so I take the dog hiking, running, to the dog park, and biking! He’s trained on and off a leash and does very well. So I’m very familiar with a shock collar and a leash! Apart from this I am a CNA right now until I take my exam to be a nurse! Samantha was wonderful with our puppy.. I would recommend her 100%. I nervous at 1st with a stranger watching our 3 month old puppy, but after meeting her I felt comfortable.. She also sent us updates on how she was doing while we were out of town for almost a week..

I live in an apartment right now so the animals stay inside unless they are on a leash going for a walk. When I take the dog on a hike he is on a shock collar which I never actually have to use. He goes with his owner my boyfriend to work everyday where he runs all day outside so during the day it’s just the cat and I.

Personally I own a cat who is one and a half! She is very loving and acts like a dog most of the time! I live with my boyfriends dog who is also around 2 years old and he’s very loving as well. He does great with the cat and other dogs he meets and rarely ever barks!
A typical day
I love to hike, bike, and run with the dog! Typically I take Duff to blue mountain and along the Milwaukee trail right by our place. I’ve found many dog parks as well that I’ll go to occasionally but hiking and running is more enjoyable to me. I have many different hiking spots so if there are some that your dog especially enjoys just let me know! I also love camping with animals so if that interests you I can give you some tips and tricks with camping with a dog and a cat.

I currently make my own schedule and am a per diem CNA. I mainly work the morning shift so I have the afternoon after 2pm off most days that I work. Typically I don’t work weekends so I have those free too!
