Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting since I was 10 years old. I have mostly taken care of dogs and cats sitting but have also taken care of hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, and turtles over the years. I have experience administering medications to pets some examples: Administering eye drops and an eye cream to a cat (5 minutes apart from one another) twice day for two weeks. Wrapping pills in peanut butter in dog food. Insulin shots to a cat twice a day. Administering oral liquid medication to dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I love being a pet sitter. It sincerely is one of my greatest joys. I am dedicated to making sure all pets and played with everyday for a good 1-2 hours MINIMUM when pet sitting overnight. I love to see pets receive lots of love and being able to provide that care to them! I am also good at following direction and learning quickly. If you have any specific requests or training instructions you would like me to follow I can follow accordingly. Please let me know if you have any additional concerns or needs not addressed here.

Samantha was a great sitter for our Benny Cat! She sent pictures every day and sent sweet notes about how he was doing. It was certainly tough to be away from him for the first time in over a year, but it was definitely comforting to know Benny was in great hands.

A typical day
I love going for walks and playing. I typically try to stick to places the dog knows if we go anywhere. Lots of petting and if a puppy is learning commands I like practicing those commands. For cats I love using a laser pointer.
