I would like to know if the dog is house trained and if the dog is a barker. I do not mind the barking so much, but I have to be considerate of the other tenants that live in the area. I would also like to know if the dog is comfortable being home alone for short periods of time since I am a student and may have to leave the dog in my apartment while I attend class. I typically only have classes three out of the five days of the week and do not intend on leaving the dog alone for more than two hours at a time. Otherwise, big dog, little dog, fluffy dog, hairless dog, a dog is a dog and I love them in their various shapes, sizes, and breeds. No preference.

Thankfully, my location is perfect for dogs. The area is safe enough for me to walk the dog around the block a few times, we can walk to the University Town Center outdoor shopping mall, or we can even walk to Doyle Dog Park with the permission of the owner of course. I personally hate being cooped up in the apartment all day so I can only imagine dogs feel the same. Play time and physical exercise is a must.
