With 20+ years of total experience, I have seen and done it all when it comes to dog sitting. My specialty is anxious/aggressive dogs, but I also have experience with puppies from 24 hour care post-birth to training, kennel dogs (show dogs in need of socialization & volunteer work), senior dogs, and medical issues. Since relocating from Boston, I completed all the dog handling trainings via the Charleston Animal Society. I work part time as a Veterinary Assistant at Foxbank Veterinary Hospital and dogsit here plus on Wag! & for friends/neighbors. My schedule is flexible and changes often, so walks & drop-ins are easiest. I live with a roommate in a house with a yard and my service dog: she gets along with all dogs and has been used by my friends to help train their dogs. If your dog likes dogs I’m happy to bring her, if not she’s taken care of by my roommate. We are in Moncks Corner through 5/31/24 then relocating to Charleston. I've never known a life without the company of a dog after growing up with German Shepards (my dad trained police dogs), golden retrievers, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, pitbulls, and rescue dogs throughout the years. I have experience with all types of dogs - big, small, friendly, shy (especially dogs shy from previous abuse), well-trained, spoiled. I love all types and give each one my full in attention in a way that tailors to their unique personality.
