Alaska Sled Dog experience!

Hello! I'm Sam. I am just returning from Alaska where I worked in a sled dog camp caring for 238 Alaskan huskies. Some photos are posted in my bio. Since I was a young girl I have loved animals of all kinds. Growing up we always had animals in the home to care for. I also grew up caring for farm animals such has poultry, horses, and cows. Within the past 2 years I have successfully fostered and rehomed over 10 animals to new loving families! Professionally I have worked in a boarding/grooming facility where I received pet CPR and first aid training. I have experience in dog training as well. I am an active individual who can match your pets energy level.

Incredible care for Bowser. Took him out to the dog park where he was able to run and get his energy out. We will have bowser stay with her anytime we go up to the area!
Ollie loved his stay with Samantha! She was communicative and kept me posted throughout the stay, along with sending some cute pictures. I would 100% book with her again!
Sam was the best thing to happen to our dog when we all came to Steamboat. Extremely responsive and loving, we were immediately at ease and booked her for several ski days once we saw how much Morty loved her. We will definitely be booking her again during our next trip up. She is wonderful!
Sam was amazing! She took such amazing care of my dog, sent me photos and kept me updated, and was just so sweet! Highly highly recommend, will definitely use her again when I’m in Steamboat!

A typical day
I have high energy levels too! I'm ready to keep up with whatever your dog is feeling. We could play fetch all day or go for a walk to smell the world. We can also work on basic command training.

Availability
Caring for animals is my joy, I am currently available Friday night, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for all your pet care needs. I always spend at least 1 hour for drop-in visits for no additional charge. I have 1 small dog in my home who loves all other animals! Any in-home boarding stays would require me to bring along my personal dog. She doesn’t shed and is well behaved!
