Safe & happy dogs are my priority!
Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Sam and I am a dog mama to two beautiful girls, Tessa and Bea. Tessa is my first; she is a 10 year old black lab who adores all humans and Bea, a spunky rescue from the Dominican who loves to play. My partner and I absolutely adore all dogs; he will be involved in some aspects of the care we provide, but I’ll be the primary point of contact and lead on all of the services! The safety and happiness of my dogs is my number one priority, and your dog wouldn’t be treated any differently. I know how important it is to find someone you trust and that your dog feels comfortable with. My goal with any of my services is to gain your dogs trust so that they feel calm and safe with me, and I will do that at their pace. I only take one client at a time to ensure that they are not overwhelmed and that I am able to give my 100% attention to them, along with my own. I understand that each dog is unique, with distinct needs and personalities. That’s why I take the time to get to know your dogs preferences, quirks, triggers, and routines. From dietary to exercise requirements, I tailor my care to make your pup feel right at home!
Reviews
Thank you Samantha for taking such good care of our puppy while we were away. We all think you are amazing and great at what you do.
Thanks Sam! Both our pets seem to love you! Great pics 😊
Samantha is amazing, she goes above and beyond for Lady, we couldn’t recommend her more! Great communication and really friendly!
Another great outing for our fur baby with Samantha! He looks forward to her visits and she is always very conscientious and caring with him!

My two girls enjoy the company of other dogs. Bea is playful and will get along with most dogs; she is cautious at first due to her history of being rescued from the streets, but she will warm up if they are respectful of her space. She is quickly won over if your dog likes to run; she loves to be chased! Tessa is a very independent gal and likes to mind her own business; she would much rather play with her ball, so as long as your dog is friendly they will get along just fine! Our home environment is very calm - we ensure to keep it low stress for all of our visitors so they have the opportunity to hang out however they feel most comfortable. However, we get all of our energy out with at least two walks a day and lots of backyard playtime! Your dogs will always be leashed when outside with me, unless we are having fun in a fully fenced yard. If I’m dropping in to visit your dog, I will always follow your direction on what you need and expect. When your dog is under my care, you can rest assured that they are in capable and caring hands.

Information Samantha C. would like to know about your pet
Doggy Daycare: Drop off: 8-9am, Pick up before 6pm. Pick up after this time should be booked as boarding. Dog walking/Drop ins: As I still work full time, I will do my best to accommodate your needs and your flexibility is very much appreciated. During the weekdays I am likely unable to drop in or walk your dog between the hours of 11am-4pm; however, please feel free to ask and if I can make it work, I will! Below is some information that will be really helpful for me to know prior or during our meet and greet: Is your dog submissive or are they an alpha? What’s their play style? Have they been boarded before? Do they have good recall? Do they have any anxiety when they are away from their human? Are they house trained? Are they destructive? How and where do they sleep at night? Do they sleep through the night or do they get up a few times? Any known allergies? Any known triggers, like skateboards? Are they reactive to other dogs? These are all important details for me to know so I can ensure your dog is not stressed!
A typical day
I am lucky enough to live in a home with a very big yard! Although parts are unfenced, we are always outside with them to supervise our dogs. Should your dog need it, we have a 50ft lead that I can use when outside with them. Our house is also right beside a park and situated in a quiet neighbourhood for safe and calm walks. As I work from home, taking a break outside is very important for me and my dogs well being, so we ensure to be outside at least a few times per day, whether it’s just to sniff, playtime or a walk! During the summer and winter I am mindful of temperatures and if it’s too warm or cold, we will do indoor activities, go for car rides, or drive to the park and play in the shade.

I work full time from home so your dog will almost never be alone. If I do need to go out, I try not to make it for more than an hour to avoid leaving the dogs by themselves. In my spare time, I volunteer with Canine Haven Rescue as a medical coordinator. I pride myself on being very responsive and communicative, so if you need 1,2, or 10 updates during their stay, I am more than happy to do that!
