Pet care experience
My name is Samantha and I’ve been an avid animal lover all my life. I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, and other little furry critters and currently have two mini schnauzers so I know what it takes to be a pet owner and care for them. I offer drop-in visits and dog walking currently. For drop-ins I will come feed, give potty breaks, and love on your animals for 30 mins to an hour. Just tell me when and where and I’ll be there. For walking I will be staying in and around your neighborhood. If I walk/visit with your pups enough and I feel comfortable, I’d love to be able to take them to play at the dog park. And even though I may be new to the website I am not new to dog sitting. My prices are set BUT if you have any questions please ask me. Please know your babies will be in good hands with me. Samantha is wonderful with animals. She has watched my dog Lexi several times. She took in a blind dog who needed a lot of tlc and gave him a wonderful home. She is loving and caring and with treat your pet like her own.

While I’m not currently available to watch any animals in or out of the house, I have a small fenced in area for our dogs to get some sun and fresh air. Our apartment complex is very dog friendly with a dog park and wooden walking trail. Dogs are always leashed when outside except in the small yarded area which they are kept an eye on via a window or sitting outside with them.

Before sitting I’d like to know what they are like as far as demeanor. Do they enjoy toys? Can they sit and stay? Do they listen? Are they jumpers (because I bruise easily!)? Are they friendly with other dogs? Getting to know them is the best way to guarantee everyone is safe and comfortable. I have no breed preference. I love them all equally!
A typical day
Typically I enjoy taking my dogs (and others) on walks or to the dog park. Giving them a chance to get their energy out. Playing with squeaker toys, balls, or giving them something to stimulate their minds like treat balls or Kong toys. But when all is said and done, I enjoy snuggling up on the couch and getting some quality time together!
