Pet care experience
I am a college student working to become a vet tech. I have been raised with animals my entire life, in fact my mom called her cats my older siblings when I was born. I have been around dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, rodents, and birds. I previously have worked at an exotic pet store with a heavy emphasis on reptiles. I also volunteer with a wildlife rescue group. I have experience with pregnant animals and bottle babies as well. We have had just about every type of animal that you could dream of and I have been a part of caring for them since I was little. I am a creative personality, and love to explore the world around me. I have experience with special needs pets, as well as training in pet first aid and CPR through my vet tech program. I will love your pet like it is mine while it is under my care.

Sam was great! I'm very nervous leaving the care of my animals to another person, but Sam was very responsive and took excellent care of my cats and chickens as well as fed my fish. She truly cares about the animals in her care.

Thank you Samantha. Samantha was amazing taking care of a dog, 2 parrots, a chicken, a duck and a tortoise. She noticed one of my parrots was breathing loudly (which is unusual for parrots) and she ended up having to take him to the vet. I can't express how grateful I was for that but also for caring for my menagerie like I would (bringing the duck inside for nightly snacks, for example). I really appreciated everything she has done.
Samantha did a great job with our little dude. She was responsive when we were nervous (cause we have had some bad experiences in the past with other sitters) and totally put our minds at ease so we could enjoy our trip. Will definitely use her again.

I need to know if a pet has any dietary requirements, exercise limitations, health issues/special needs. It is also important to know if there are any behavioral issues such as leash pulling, dog aggression, inappropriate chewing, etc. This likely won't effect whether I take you on as a client, but I need to know for everyone's safety.
A typical day
I include a daily walk as part of pet sitting. I like going to the Riparian Preserve for special outings. I can do some obedience and trick training. If your pet is kind of a homebody I can play with some of their favorite toys.

I am currently a student, so all pet care is scheduled around my classes and study time. Dog walking is mostly scheduled for the evenings.
